You’re invited to join the Church Hill Conservatives Residents’ Committee

Local residents in Church Hill who are supporters of the Conservatives are being invited to join a local ‘branch committee’ of the party being set up in the area by newly-elected Councillor Mike Rouse, who recently won his seat by a single vote in May’s local elections.

Mike commented: “A branch committee is a great way for local Conservatives to get together, to socialise and discuss local priorities and concerns.”

Local residents who are supportive of the Conservatives may join the committee and they don’t need to be a Party Member. However, this will mean they can’t take up a formal position or vote on future candidate selections.

Commenting on this Mike added: “Being a member is the best way to enjoy your time as part of the committee, but if you just want to get involved with the social aspects or contribute to Conservative thinking in the local area that’s also fine.”

Branch committee meetings are held once-per-month in the local area. The committee usually organises a range of social events and functions.

To get involved email [email protected] or call 07743 125 474. The first meeting will take place on Thursday 19th July at 7pm at a Church Hill location to be confirmed.
